Northumbria Blood Bikes exists entirely on charitable donations. In our first year of operation, we have been successful in purchasing 6 motorcycles, but we need to continue to raise funds to renew these in time, but to also buy a car and exhibition trailer, for example, and most importantly to cover running costs such as insurance, MOT, fuel, and maintenance. As we grow the service we will need more bikes and more funds to cover the running costs.
